Home of the Beatles.

Another new city for the weekend getaway.

Stayed in Manchester and went for a day trip to Liverpool. Only GBP6 for a return train ticket, booked it early!

What I was looking forward the most is the home of the Beatles and the Albert Dock. Well, basically all the main attractions are in Albert Dock.

Beautiful place, worth the check out.

Sightseeing in Manchester

Finally the sun is out in Manchester.

To be frank, Manchester is a busy city, there are not much sightseeing to do. Most tourists probably come here to see the Old Trafford stadium and shopping. But what I enjoy the most being here is the enormous variety of food they have. Personally my faves are Al-Taiba (Grilled fish- almost similar to Malaysia's 'ikan bakar' and their Pilau rice) and Chow Mein's crispy chili beef. Ok I'm drooling by just mentioning it.
OK seriously do check out these places here, i kid you not it is amazing!

So yes it was a lovely Saturday afternoon, we had lunch at Teacup and walked around city while the sun was still out.

I figured I might as well show what inside of the stadium looks like.

6 months to go

Alnwick Castle
5 months down now in Newcastle. Can't believe how time flies. Definitely has been wonderful so far. And the amount of visitors I had coming in to Newcastle which is weird though as it is the 'kampung' part of England. But yeah that kept me busy (in a good way). At one point there were 5 of us in this 2 bedroom flat. :O I bet the neighbors upstairs were curious as well. XD

Let's count how many visitors I've had so far:

1) Mama
2) Syidi - never ending visitor
3) Jaja
4) Yoyo
5) Mick
6) Fanna
7) Farah
8) Meg
9) Azri
10) Eida
11) Sarah

:O :O :O
That definitely kept me busy for the past 5 months!

And what have I done so far in Newcastle, you'll be surprised.
